iglu / 2015

Iglu is a play tent for children made 100% of cardboard, designed to provide a sustainable option within today's unsustainable toy industry.

Iglu folds flat for easy storage and unfolds open to magically surprise every time. When folded, Iglu becomes its own packaging, eliminating the necessity for boxes, therefore reducing the amount of material used for its production.

Iglu fosters independence, imagination and encourages creativity acting as a blank canvas where children can paint and make it their very own.

Iglu is 100% recyclable and foster discussions about sustainability between parents and children.

Iglu is a continuation of the Pylon project, further exploring the idea of shape and structure, through the folding of cardboard and paper, inspired in the ancient japanese techinique of origami.
